Matthew McConaughey Joins The Wolf of Wall Street
Matthew McConaughey is looking to continue his winning streak as he's announced as the latest star name to join Martin Scorsese's The Wolf Of Wall Street, about the rise and fall of stockbroker Jordan Belfort - who will be played by Leonardo DiCaprio.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, McConaughey will join recent Oscar winner Jean Dujardin, Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie and Rob Reiner in the adaptation of the bestselling book, while Iron Man director and brilliant character actor Jon Favreau is also apparently in negotiations. The film once had Michael Mann attached to helm and it isn’t the first time that he and Scorsese have replaced one another - Mann developed The Aviator for a long time before passing it to Scorsese.
This really sounds like it could be something special. Fantastic cast, superb source material and Martin bleedin' Scorsese.
