As we're all acutely aware nowadays, Donald Trump's a preening, self-seeking egotist who is utterly shameless about how he pushes himself out there, to the point that it's disgusting to literally anyone with a shred of dignity.

So it shouldn't come as any surprise whatsoever that Trump, as part of the black hole that resides within him for acceptance and fame, would seek to involve himself in the movie industry in any way he can - even it means cajoling filmmakers into including him in their work in exchange for allowing them to film on his properties.

In a recent interview with THR, Matt Damon confirmed a long-held rumour about Trump - and explained why anyone would he even want the hairdo in their film. "The deal was that if you wanted to shoot in one of his buildings, you had to write him in a part," explained Damon.

"Martin Brest had to write something in Scent of a Woman - and the whole crew was in on it. You have to waste an hour of your day with a bullshit shot: Donald Trump walks in and Al Pacino’s like, “Hello, Mr. Trump!” - you had to call him by name - and then he exits."

"You waste a little time so that you can get the permit, and then you can cut the scene out. But I guess in Home Alone 2 they left it in," said Damon.

Damon's comments line up with Newsweek's intense investigation from 2016, which gave a detailed account of what sort of a person Trump was behind-the-scenes, and how easy of a get he was for cameos and such.

If this new information does nothing else, it just further demonstrates how vain and completely lacking in moral character Donald Trump was, and how he had to almost physically strongarm people to let him into their films.
