Lost Creator To Pen Alien Film

Lost Creator To Pen Alien Film

29 July 2010

Those Lost fans out there, who also have a inkling towards classic science fiction and horror films should probably sit down. Apparently, one of Lost's creators, Damon Lindelof, has signed on to write the Ridley Scott helmed Alien prequel.

The exciting sounding flick will be set 30 years before the shenanigans that took place in the 1979 classic, which became almost a template for every single film sent in space after. Scott agreed to come back to direct after studio Fox apparently agreed to give him a hefty budget to play around with.

When Lindelof and Scott met, the meeting apparently went so well, they also discussed "an original sci-fi film" that they may work together on at some point in the future. Least us not forget, Buffy creator and, geek icon, Joss Whedon scripted the shite Alien Resurrection, so the studio would still need to let them do their thing and not interfere for it to be good. Thanks to Deadline via Empire for the scoop.

Well, with the disastrous ending to LOST I can only imagine how this douche will ruin another project. I definately wont be paying to see this.
