Things are starting to move on the widely anticipated Anchorman 2, otherwise known as Anchorman: The legend Continues, and we couldn't be happier to hear that Kristen Wiig - one of the best female comedy actors on the go - is in talks to join rank with the rest of the cast.

As per The Wrap, the Bridesmaids actress is currently in negotiations to play the love interest of Brick - the mentally challenged weather reporter with an inexplicable affection towards lamps - played to perfection by Steve Carrell. No stranger to a decent comedy flick, Wiig has proved her chops in everything from Bridesmaids to Adventureland and, of course, her stint on Saturday Night Live.

Kristen Wiig in talks to go yogging on Anchorman 2?

As with all sequels that come after the first big hit, the pressure is well and truly on for Anchorman 2. However, with all of the principal cast returning for the second movie, we reckon we're in safe enough hands. What we've still to find out though is whether or not Christina Applegate will reprise her role as Ron Burgundy's (Will Ferrell) burd. Also, while Vince Vaughn hinted at returning for round two as Wes Mantooth, this has yet to be set in stone.

On that note, it's time to share your favourite Anchorman quotes. We'll go first...

I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

Mmm. San Diego. Drink it in, it always goes down smooth. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diago, which of course in German means "a whale's vagina"
