Back when Lucasfilm and Disney announced their new Star Wars films to the world, many names were bandied about as to who would take on the new iteration.
One name that came to the fore was Joss Whedon, he of Buffy and Avengers fame. Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for release this weekend, we caught up with Whedon to discuss the difficult shoot in Ultron and working with a familiar cast and newcomers such as James Spader.
In the course of our chat, we brought up the new trailer for The Force Awakens and Whedon's thoughts on it. When we pushed him on whether or not he'd consider it, Whedon was surprisingly forthright with his answer.
