Jane Eyre Director To Tackle IT
Jane Eyre director Cary Fukunaga has come onboard to direct a new film adaptation of the Stephen King novel "It" says Heat Vision.
The original is a huge reason why many people have phobias of clowns, and rightly so. Actually a mini-series it seemed to be on a constant loop on everyone's TV in the early 90s, and is probably, somewhat ironically, one of the best known King adaptations - even though it never got a cinema release. The ending was awful, mind.
Hopefully Fukunaga does this right and we have another creepy, iconic bad guy. It's really been a while.

I like the mini-series, but it's hit and miss, and far too long at 3 hrs. Tim Curry is amazing though, if they go ahead, they must never re-cast Pennywise. Stephen King's a hard man to take on. Instantly i think of The Shining, 1408, Misery etc... But then i think of Dreamcatcher and the countless awful TV mini-series.
