Antiquing, for those who don't know, is the process of shopping for valuable antiques. Every day's a school day in here, folks.

After a career that spanned close to forty years and featured some of the most electric performances of our time - including David Cronenberg's Videodrome, Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In America, and Oliver Stone's Salvador - it's all over for James Woods.

In a statement released by a real estate agent in Rhode Island (yes, really), Woods confirmed that he's retiring from acting and is selling off a number of properties in order to "simplify his life."

Woods was heavily criticised by a number of actors recently for his comments regarding the upcoming drama Call Me By Your Name. The film's star, Armie Hammer, then pointed out that Woods himself dated a 19-year old when he was 60. Actress Amber Tamblyn then publicly accused Woods of trying to pick her up when she was 16, however Woods has denied these allegations.
