James McAvoy And Jessica Chastain To Headline The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby

JimmyMac

Two very talented young actors, James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain are set to star in interesting sounding project, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, says Variety.

In a smart take on a conventional sounding story, the tale of a husband and wife who go back to college, will actually be spread over two films - one from his perspective and one from hers. Ned Benson will make his feature directorial debut on the flick which was set the star Joel Edgerton, but the Aussie actor has been replaced by X-Man and Scot, McAvoy. Chastain is heavily in demand after a series of impressive performances throughout 2011, which cumulated in an Oscar nomination for The Help - her best work came in Terence Malick's The Tree of Life, though.

Like the sounds of this, and love the actors involved. Hope it lives up to its obvious innovation.
