It looks like Dave Bautista's role as Drax in the third 'Guardians of the Galaxy' installment is safe for now, if recent reports are anything to go by.

Bautista has threatened to quit the film following James Gunn's dismissal, if Gunn's script was not used.

However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney are still intending to use the original script rather than cut all ties with Gunn after he was fired from the movie for a series of offensive tweets from years ago.

With negotiations for his exit from Disney still ongoing, they say that Gunn could receive a payout of $7 to $10 million for his troubles - and the same report quotes sources from multiple studios saying that they would have no hesitation in working with the director in the future.

Looks like he might make it through this whole mess, after all...
