It's one thing to make a movie about a movie and have it include a couple of famous scenes from it here and there, but James Franco took to it another level for The Disaster Artist.

In an interview with The Independent's Kernels podcast, the elder Franco revealed that he's shot about twenty-five minutes worth of scenes from The Room, especially for the The Disaster Artist. The film does include a number of them, especially in the end credits, and it's genuinely uncanny how closely Franco recreated them.

And yes, they did the "YOU ARE TEARING ME APART, LISA!" bit. The Disaster Artist hits Irish cinemas on December 8th and you can read our four-star review of it right here.
