Suddenly we have a feeling our childhood is about to be ruined and aren't as excited about this anymore.

While The Rock, who will star/produce the project, has been keen to state that he intends to respect and "honour" the original film, with the casting announcement of Jack Black along with Kevin Hart for his "re-imagining" of 'Jumanji', are hopes of it being respected have dropped drastically.

Taking to Instagram last night, Dwayne Johnson confirmed that "JACK (mf'n) BLACK" was joining the film as his "Jumanji Breakfast Club" was coming together, teasing that "Two big roles [were] left" to be announced, "One bad ass girl. One semi-sorta bad ass dude. Who will they be... this is gonna be fun."

We don't know about you, but this is beginning to sound less and less like we're going to enjoy it. We just have to wait until July 2017 to find out.
