Fans of the Jurassic period rejoice; Jurassic Park IV will come roaring into cinemas sooner than we had previously thought. A while back Universal Pictures had given the greenlight on the fourth installment in the franchise but then shelved it without further notice. Now, however, it seems things have picked back up and, as per ComingSoon.net we can expect to chow down on some dinosaur fare come 2015.

The reason for the hold up was because the director (Colin Trevorrow) felt the need for a stellar script was paramount. And we agree; isn't it better to wait 'til you get the story just right rather than just shove a load of CGI theatrics down our throats? We'll always see through it if there's no real meat at the core of the movie. We're getting too used to awesome visuals, what with all the latest technological advancements in 3D and what have you not to require a decent script.

Are you excited? And how do you feel about it being made in 3D, T-Rex heads coming right at your face with a human head clamped between its molars?

We can't wait.

In the mean time, let's take a look at Fenton the Irish dog, wreaking havoc in Jurassic Park. Just for lol's sake.
