Two weeks after release and one week after previews, The Young Offenders is still holding strong in the charts.

For an Irish film to maintain itself in the Top 3 of the Irish box-office is pretty damn impressive, especially considering major studio tentpoles like The Magnificent Seven and Bridget Jones' Baby are in play. The Magnificent Seven, however, failed topple Renee Zellwegger and her baby from the top spot.

Meanwhile, zombie horror The Girl With All The Gifts sadly failed to break the Top 5, only managing to secure €32,681 on its opening weekend whilst Finding Dory edges closer to the €4,000,000 mark every week. Nine Lives, meanwhile, experienced a 15% bump in its taking this week, now making €460,260 so far during its six-week run, while Steven Spielberg's The BFG experienced a 35% increase, bringing it north of €2,000,000 at the Irish box-office.
