Idris Elba Latest Name To Join Thor

The star of The Wire and, most recently, Beyonce starring drivel Obsessed, Idris Elba is the latest name to join the increasingly packed cast of Thor. A couple of days ago both Ray Stevenson and Stuart Townsend joined as the Norse Gods arse-kicking mates, while Chris Hemsworth has been cast in the title role for some time with Natalie Portman his love interest. Kenneth Branagh is the man directing the film, which still seems like a strange choice given his previous films utter lack of anything resembling scope or action. Still, he's an actor's director, so a solid second unit should really do the rest.
