Although some of the trailers for Alien: Covenant have been a little so-so, we're still nevertheless excited about Ridley Scott's continuation of the Alien franchise.
Scott has already said that he's ready to churn out at least six more Alien films and that he has bags and bags of creative ideas for the film, and going by this first poster for Alien: Covenant, it looks like it's going to be as stylish and frightening as you'd expect.
The poster, as far as we can tell, is inspired by a painting of the nine levels of Hell in Dante's Inferno. This ties in with the film's tagline, "The road to paradise begins in hell", so maybe there's some kind of religious element to it?
Who knows. Here's the poster, anyway. Alien: Covenant hits Irish cinemas on May 19th.
