Goodfella Ray Liotta has just joined the cast of The Muppets sequel. He's a long way from whacking thugs and shovelling them into the back of his 1979 Cadillac with this one. As it stands, his role remains unspecified. So too does the plot for the entire movie. We wouldn't be half surprised though if Liotta appears on screen with a satirical Mafia style character; we just can't imagine him as anything else. Can you?
We already know that Ricky Gervais will take the lead this one, supported by Ty Burrell of Modern Family but with no sign of our pal Jason Segel. Will it measure up to the standard of the first movie? We wait with bated breath.
