In a reasonably predictable night, awards-wise, La La Land swept the board in every category it was nominated and came away with a record-breaking seven wins.

Sadly, our own Ruth Negga didn't manage to win out in Best Actress (Drama) and instead lost to Isabelle Huppert in Elle. Moonlight, as well, scooped up the Best Picture (Drama) gong, defeating heavy favourites like Hacksaw Ridge and Manchester By The Sea.

Meanwhile, Meryl Streep made an impassioned speech against - you guessed it - Donald Trump when she received the Cecil B. DeMille Award, whilst Jimmy Fallon was so-so as host.

Here's the winners from the Golden Globes' film categories.
