Gerard Butler And Aaron Eckhart Drop Olympus

Aaron Eckhart and his imposing jaw will play the U.S. President in Training Day director Antoine Fuqua's new action flick, Olympus Has Fallen.

According to Variety, Gerard Butler is set as a secret service agent who is the only thing standing between the POTUS buying the farm, when a bunch of terrorists overtake the White House. Yes, it does sound very similar to the proposed Channing Tatum/Jamie Foxx starrer, White House Down. It may be a case of which film makes it to the big screen first - although that's not always a good thing, with a recent case in point being the god awful Mirror Mirror.

Roland Emmerich is directing 'Down' and both he and Fuqua know a thing or two about action flicks. The two of them could be fun, but they are veeeery similar. Who'd you vote for I guess? Sorry...

  Strange title. Meant to get people to read the article? I loved Mirror, Mirror, as did lots of people, probably mostly women, who grew up on Snow White stories. Loved the art, the costumes, still love the old fairy tales. Like lots of women...even us old ones. I would watch Gerard Butler before Channing Tatum. Love his energy, have seen every movie. The story line for both seems a little shaky.
