Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson take the lead in the new trailer released for G.I Joe Retaliation.

After Paramount pushed back it's release day from it's original 2012 summer release by nearly a year, all went quiet on the G.I Joe front but a trailer has been released today to promote the action film. The reason given for the sudden postponement was to accommodate the film's 3D conversion. However, it was later reported that the studio was concerned with screen tests which proved Channing Tatum's characters scenes were some of the most liked, only problem was his character was killed in the first few minutes of the film. So after Tatum's ressurection and some script fix-ups G.I Joe is set to be released next year.

The trailer for G. I Joe Retaliation looks abit more promising than the first G.I Joe and reveals more of the plot involving the take over over the US government with some cheesy one liners dropped in from Willis! The official synopsis for the movie reads as 'In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.' G.I Joe Retaliation hits our screens on the 27th March 2013.
