'Unbreakable' and 'Split' are up there as some of M. Night Shyamalan's best movies, so to see the two of them come together in 'Glass' is pretty special.

The movie, for those who don't know, picks up right after the end of 'Split' where we saw David Dunn - Bruce Willis' superpowered security guard from 'Unbreakable' - quietly downing a cup of coffee and no doubt aware of the fact that he's going to be back in action again.

For whatever reason, all three characters - that's Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson's Mr. Glass, and McAvoy's multiple-personality villain The Horde - are now in a psychiatric hospital under the care of Sarah Paulson, who's a psychologist who deals with a specific type of delusion of grandeur - people who believe they have superpowers.

That in itself is a fascinating premise, but you tie in everything that happened in 'Split' and 'Unbreakable' and it's a whole new level.

'Glass' arrives in Irish cinemas on January 18th.
