First images of Michael Fassbender in The Counselor surface

The first images of Michael Fassbender in Cormac McCarthy's first ever written-for-the-screen story, The Counselor, have surfaced (via Digital Spy).

Ridley Scott is directing Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz in the thriller about a lawyer who thinks he can dabble in the world of drugs and is sorely mistaken. Scott will next direct Prometheus 2, which will see Fassbender return in the role of David while we'll next see Micka (try calling him British with THAT name) in Twelve Years a Slave.

The Counselor will surely be an Oscar contender when it's released next year.
