Running from May 8th to May 10th, the Fingal Film Festival celebrates home grown and international independent film-makers, and tickets for the festival are on sale now.

The movies will all be shown in the Odeon Cinema in Blanchardstown, with a huge selection of short live action, documentary and animated movies on show, along with some high profile features such as festival opener A Hijacking, the new feature from the director of the highly acclaimed The Hunt.

Along with the films, there's also a wide selection of workshops taking place in the Crown Plaza Hotel in Blanchardstown. Irish run award-winning company Brown Bag Films will be running an animation workshop, Stephen Lord of Eastenders and Shameless fame will be providing an acting masterclass, while there also workshops available in Producing, Directing, Cinematography, and Documentary making.
