Disney Head Honcho Kills Wild Hogs 2
17 December 2009
It what can only be described as a mercy killing, new Disney head-honcho Rich Ross has put the skids on a sequel to the (utter f**king awful) Wild Hogs, the 2007 hit that starred John Travolta and Tim Allen.
The backtracking on the previously green-lit sequel comes after the failure of the similar sounding Old Dogs, which I initially assumed was a sequel. The film received reviews boardering on death threats, and bombed at the box-office, causing Ross to baulk paying all the stars of the, obviously very similar Hogs, to come back for seconds.
Ross has also put a stop to a McG helmed 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea film, as well as Wedding Banned, a production that already had a cast and director in place.
