When he's not battling the US President, Arnold Schwarzenegger's making a point of starring in the odd film here and there.

Most recently, Schwarzenegger will be appearing in Aftermath, a Darren Aronofsky-produced drama based on the Uberlingen mid-air collision and there's been consistent rumours that he'll reprise his role as Dutch in Shane Black's Predator not-a-sequel-but-not-a-reboot-either.

Now, there's another rumour floating around that Arnold Schwarzenegger may be joining the cast of DC's Wonder Woman. It's worth pointing out that, at this stage, that there is nothing in the way official confirmation yet. However, internet detectives have noted that DC head honcho Geoff Johns and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins have both decided to follow the Governator on Twitter in the past day or two.

It's worth pointing out that many correctly predicted that Joe Mangianello would be playing Deathstroke when they clocked a number of Warner Bros. executives adding the actor on Twitter.

As for what role Schwarzenegger could play is anyone's guess. Wonder Woman has more or less finished shooting, so it's likely that if Arnold Schwarzenegger is appearing in the film, it's likely a post-credits scene that can be shot within a day or two and tacked on to the cut with minimal fuss.

If he's reprising his role from Batman & Robin, we will eat a hat.
