Colin Farrell will star opposite Hollywood up-and-comer Noomi Rapace, in the action thriller Dead Man Down.
According to Darkhorizons.com, Farrell will play Victor, a "right hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City who is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (to be played by Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution." Director of the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Niels Arden Oplev, will make his English language debut with the project, and work with his lead actress once again.
Farrell is currently shooting the huge budgeted remake of Total Recall, and will then once again work with his In Bruges director Martin McDonagh on Seven Psychopaths, which will co-star Mickey Rourke, Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell. Repace will next be seen in Sherlock Holmes 2
