It's often a case that when actors reach a certain level of stardom and success, they'll take of those around them in whatever way they can.

In a recent interview, Liam Hemsworth - brother of Chris Hemsworth, AKA Thor - explained how his older brother did something wonderful for his parents, Craig and Leonie.

As Liam tells it, Chris called his father and asked him to check his bank balance.

Their father then "called my brother Chris back and said: ‘I don’t know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I’d be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared.’ They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us, I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that."

It's understood Hemsworth made a cool $5,000,000 for starring in Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as percentages on the film's gross, which currently stands at $459 MILLION.

Hemsworth's next film is In The Heart Of The Sea, based on the story of Essex and the inspiration for Moby Dick. Hemsworth went through dramatic weight-loss for the role, but he's said to be bulking up again for his third Thor film, Ragnarok.
