Luca Guadagnino, the director of 'Call Me By Your Name' and the upcoming reimagining of 'Suspiria', is setting himself an interesting challenge for his next movie - turning Bob Dylan's seminal 1975 album, 'Blood On The Tracks', into a movie.

In an interview with the New Yorker, it was revealed that the director has acquired the theatrical rights to the movie and has sent Richard LaGravenese to pen a screenplay based on the album's central themes. LaGravenese is perhaps best known for writing the screenplay to 'The Bridges Of Madison County', 'Behind The Candelabra', 'A Little Princess' and... uh, writing and directing 'P.S. I Love You'. Less said about that one, the better.

Anyway, the announcement comes as Bob Dylan is set to release an expanded album based on unused takes and tracks from the sessions that spawned 'Blood On The Tracks', calling the new album 'More Blood, More Tracks'. The album itself is considered to be one of Dylan's most daring and LaGravenese's script will follow a multiyear story told in the '70s, taking in multiple characters and plotlines based off of the songs themselves.

No release date or casting has been announced as of yet, but given how Guadagnino has the sequel to 'Call Me By Your Name' still to get to, this one might be a while off yet.

Here's 'Tangled Up In Blue', the first song off the album and probably one of the most well-known.
