He's still taking over our TV screens as the infamous Walter White on Breaking Bad, but that's not the only reason we've been talking about Bryan Cranston of late.
The internet has been buzzing with speculation about the actor's next big project and just about everyone (including ourselves, Rolling Stone and The Huffington Post) fell for that red herring about him being confirmed for Man of Steel 2. Will he play Superman's nemsis Lex Luthor? It's probably best to direct that question at Mr Cranston himself.
That's exactly what the Boston Globe did over the weekend, and Cranston told them that speculation about him reuniting with Argo co-star Ben Affleck in the latest Superman offering and word of him signing a six picture deal with Warner Brothers was "all news" to him. "I think that maybe my name is bandied about because I’m known to be bald", Cranston mused. "What bald guy can we get? The reality is they can take any actor and shave his head or put a bald cap on him."
We think it's important to note that good old Bryan didn't shut down the suggestion though: He would make a wonderful villain, and would be a more than worthy successor to Gene Hackman in fairness.Kevin Spacey wasn't bad, we just don't talk about that movie he was in...
Then again, they could always please all the Smallville fans out there and get Michael Rosenbaum in, eh?
