We make no bones about the fact that Bill Murray is a living legend and we totally want to hang out with him. Bill, if you're reading this, we're on Great Strand Street, Dublin. Stop by the next time you're in town. Ask for Brian.

Anyways, Bill Murray has signed on to voice the role of Baloo the Bear in Jon Favreau's upcoming live-action / animatin remake of Disney's The Jungle Book.

Murray will be joined by Ben Kinglsey as Bagheera The Panther, Scarlett Johannson as Kaa The Snake, Christopher Walken as King Louie and Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito as Akela The Wolf. 12 Years A Slave's Lupita Nyong'o and Idris Elba also join the cast as Raksha, the she-wolf who raised Mowgli and Shere Khan, the tiger who wants to kill him.

10-year old newcomer Neel Sethi will play the role of Mowgli. It's not yet known whether or not the film will feature musical numbers like the original. In fact, there's another take on the film being made over at Warners with Andy Serkis directing.

Again, last reminder - Bill Murray, please come hang out with us. We're really cool. We'll go to karaoke bars and stuff.
