In very disappointing movie news, it appears man of the moment Ben Affleck has had to pull out of the Kristen Stewart starrer - Focus - due to his 'busy schedule'. And by 'busy schedule' we mean his forward thinking wife, Jennifer Garner. OK, that's just an assumption on our part, but if the woman has been paying any attention at all to the gossip headlines this past few months, she wouldn't let her husband within an inch of Kristen *cough* Trampire *cough* Stewart. It's no secret; the Twilight actress has quite the penchant for directors. Although maybe this film would have been a safer bet for Garner, given that Affleck was only in line to act, not direct. As quick as we are to slam K-Stew, however, we'd probably try it on with Ben too.

Focus, as we reported a while back, will be written and directed by Crazy Stupid Love helmers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa and centres on a con artist who takes on a newcomer to share their tricks of the trade. The producers are now seeking a suitable replacement for Affleck. Any takers?

Affleck's just been nominated for a Best Director Golden Globe for Argo. G'wan the Ben.
