Ben Affleck And Justin Timberlake For Runner Runner

Ben Affleck is in negotiations and Justin Timberlake has signed on to star in the flick, Runner, Runner reports Variety.

The man who helmed surprise hit drama The Lincoln Lawyer, Brad Furman, will direct the thriller which will apparently centre on the world of online gambling. Affleck was a keen poker player for many years, often winning big in professional tournaments, so this is right in his wheelhouse. It's also written by the guys behind his mate, Matt Damon's early gambling flick, Rounders, Brian Koppelman and David Levien.

Timberlake is continuing to pile up the impressive roles. Still not sold on him as an actor at all - certainly not as a leading man anyway - but Affleck is immensely watchable these days.
