Josh Brolin's such a bad ass. Although Gangster Squad was a little bit too 'Hollywood' for some people's tastes (when compared with the far more complex and gritty LA Confidential, for example), Brolin was still pretty awesome in it. He's got a voice like no other, he manages to be both affable and intimidating at the same time and if that wasn't enough, he's pretty easy on the eye too.

Next up for Josh is Sin City 2, for which new on set images have just been unveiled by director Robert Rodriguez (Rodriguez will co-direct with Frank Miller). Taking to Twitter to shatter the illusion created by movies, one pic shows Josh in front of a green scene, sitting on a box with a steering wheel stuck on. Rodriguez tweeted the pic saying: "Here's bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile. (A green box with a steering wheel bolted on)".

Another photo then shows us what then happens in the editing suite. "And here's a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors. (Probably won't be raining in final movie)"

Amazing what they can do, isn't it?

Starring Sin City original cast members Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson and Mickey Rourke, Josh Brolin will join the cast along with new members Eva Green, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. SQUEE! (sorry, we have to let out some form of excited yelp everytime we hear of JGL's involvement in a new movie.)

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is set to hit American cinemas on October 4th but sadly we're still waiting on our own release date over this side of the Atlantic. Stay tuned!
