If your memory is a little hazy, Alpha 5 was the neurotic droid servant/employee/colleague of Zordon's and assisted the Rangers as an eye in the sky type figure.
Hader is a great fit for a contemporary interpretation of the character in our books and is another reason to be cautiously optimistic about the reboot.
