Angelina Jolie May Direct Fifty Shades of Grey

Angelina Jolie is this morning being tenuously linked with a big screen adaptation of the high profile novel, Fifty Shades of Grey - which apparently is filth FILTH! Down with that sort of thing etc.

Anyhow, according to Deadline.com, Jolie isn't being linked as a star but rather as a director; I think her reputation as someone who (according to her own interviews) is into some "pretty weird shit" is probably why she's being linked. Sony Pictures paid a fortune for the rights for the novel about a young woman "exploring herself" with a mysterious billionaire (hint, he won't fucking look like Richard Branson). The books, of which there are currently three, have sold a shitload worldwide.

Jolie directed the Bosnian drama In The Land Of Blood And Honey, which wasn’t very kinky at all. She's apparently interested but not in a rush to decide.
