Yes, folks, this actually happened and we've even got a picture to prove it.

The follow-up to 2012's actually-not-bad The Conjuring has begun production today and, to kick things off, director James Wan brought in a priest to bless the production before it got started.

The unnamed priest is, apparently, an exorcist who performed a blessing over the production of The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist. Both the story and the production is set in England, which explains the familiar-looking houses in the background. The story is based on the true story of Margaret and Janet Hodgson, two young girls who reported a poltergeist in their home in Enfield, United Kingdom during the '70s.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are returning along with director James Wan - whose next film is a small indie thing called Aquaman, which you might have heard of it. Meanwhile, Simon McBurney and Frances O'Connor are joining the sequel.

The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist is headed for a release of June 10th, 2016.
