All female Expendables? HELL YEAH.
Move over Arnie, Sly and ehh Liam Hemsworth. Apparently, there's talk of an all female Expendables on the way. GIRL POWER OH YEAH. Quick, somebody get Beyonce on the phone, she'll definitely want in. If there's anyone more deserving of a spot in this potential ensemble piece it's Bey. Sure with 'Run The World', they've already got their theme tune in the can. Oh and the Spice Girls, although they're very definitely shit at acting so maybe not. And how could we forget Katie Taylor? Doesn't matter if she's as quiet as a mouse, she can play the part of the strong silent one who throws that final climatic punch, bringing justice to the world.
As per Variety, Adi Shankar - producer of Dredd - is just mad to send a troop of the world's most bad ass b*tches into the shoes of Schwarzenegger and his pals and is currently on the lookout and 'in talks' with several big names to make up one helluva star studded cast.
Apart from our own personal recommendations mentioned above, we HAVE to consider the girls who've already kicked ass in their own action movies. When asked about this exciting possibility, director of Expendables 2, Simon West said: "I like the idea of seven or eight women mercenaries... It would be Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, the list goes on. Helen Mirren, Jamie Lee Curtis would be great." Now we're as much a fan of Helen Mirren's as the next guy but we're not quite sure how happy we'd be about sending a woman approaching her 70s into combat, just sayin'. The folk at Total Film also have their own ideas on who'd be worthy - Linda Hamilton, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Gina Carano among others - and we couldn't agree more, once our Katie gets a look in.
Enough about us. Who do YOU think should make the final cut? Anyone we haven't thought of?

Gots to be Cynthia Rothrock (China O' Brien). She's the female Chuck Norris. Also, Geena Davis is due for an action comeback.

Can't have it without Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi, both of Crouching Tiger fame. Michelle Yeoh is one of the best action stars in the world, including the lads.
