The Fantastic Four cast looks to have been finalised with the details of all actors deals coming to a conlusion, and the reboot to the Marvel property now on the fast track to production.

Fox are the studio behind the flick, that will be the third brought to the big screen by Hollywood. Word (via Deadline) is that Fox are set on their Fantastic Four, with the roles reportedly going to Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch), Miles Teller as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara as Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman) and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm (The Thing).

That’s an awfully young cast and we’re sure purists who loved the comics will be up in arms at the change of their beloved characters, but they’re at least pulling it in a different direction than the ‘gee shucks’ versions that shot broad and missed a few years back. Also, every one of those four can act their asses off.

One of the huge pluses coming from this is the inclusion of the helmer of Josh Trank, whose last (and first) film was the innovative Chronicle – where he worked with Jordan before. The script is also being penned by Simon Kinberg, who is a producer and writer behind X-Men: First Class (wooohooo) and X-Men: The Last Stand (doh!).

Fingers crossed the young talent involved knock it out of the park.
