Fancy yourself as a bit of a sketcher, constantly find yourself drawing and doodling at your desk? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to learn about sound design and supervision on a set? Or, just a guess here, you’ve had enough of rhetorical questions and want me to get to the point?

As part of the Fingal Film Festival this weekend, there are a number of classes for all of those things, so you have a chance to take your skills to the next level.

Animation company Boulder Media are hosting an Animation Workshop this Friday, which will be led by Robert Cullen.

If that name sounds familiar it’s either because you heard it nominated at an Emmy award ceremony, or you’ve read it while researching the new Danger Mouse reboot, which he’s making with Boulder Media.

There will also be a workshop in Sound Design and Supervision lead by Niall Brady of Screen Scene Post Production House, whose recent film credits include Frank and What Richard Did, and Steve Fanagan of Ardmore Studios and Screen Scene, whose credits include Albert Nobbs, The Guard and Game of Thrones Series 1.

Both classes take place this weekend, and tickets are available from here.
