A Sequel To Vacation On The Way
07 October 2009
Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin will produce, and possibly helm a sequel to the Chevy Chase comedy National Lampoons Vacation from way back when. The original focused on a family, led by Chase's bumbling Clark Griswold, who go on a road trip from hell, in order to spend some quality time together. This time, Rusty Griswold, the son from the original, will play the youngster who now has a family of his own to cart around. The fact that Dobkin is attached means that this will have a fairly hefty budget, thus expect a relatively large star to take the main role. Still love Christmas Vacation, which is great for garnering those feelings of yuletide nostalgia when all else falls.
