A Blade reboot? Ye wha?
Wesley Snipes may be behind bars but that won't stop Blade from returning to the big screen, apparently.
Screenwriter David Goyer, who also put pen to paper for The Dark Knight Rises, says he thinks a revival is inevitable now that the rights to the vampire movie series are back in the hands of Disney owned Marvel Studios.
"Now that Marvel/Disney have recaptured the rights, I'm sure it will be [remade]. They made too much money on that character to not reboot him at some point," Goyer told Crave Online. "I mean, look, between merchandise and whatnot, that little character generated almost a billion dollars."
The original Blade trilogy, released between 1998 and 2004, featured Snipes as the infamous vampire hunter. We've heard he's due for release from prison later this year so who knows, maybe he'll be back for round 4?
