A series of films, workshops and discussions will take place as part of The Indian Film Festival of Ireland this year in Film Base and Movies@ Dundrum.  The curtain raising film The Master screens on the 19th of September with other screenings taking place from Friday the 19th of September until Monday the 22nd.

Gulaab Gang, Kya Dilli Kya Lahore, Maanikya, Mardaani, Gulaab Gang and many more will screen over the five days in the scenic surroundings of Dublin Temple Bar, while there will be plenty more to chew on for fans of Bollywood.

The festival launched in 2010, with director Siraj Zaidi, who is extremely proud of where it's come in such a short space of time. He writes on the official website:

"It’s seems like only yesterday when we launch the Indian Film Festival of Ireland (IFFI) in 2010. The Indian Film Industry keeps growing and keeps churning out as usual on average, one thousand films per year.

The festival thanks its supporters, sponsors, patrons and well wishers. It thanks in particular, the ever growing audience in the Dublin region and hopes to expand to different parts of Ireland.

I am once again proud to present the 5th IFFI 2014."
