We've been driven demented for months with rumours about actors and actresses being supposedly in talks to play Anna and Christian in the 50 Shades of Grey film, but now, FINALLY, someone has confirmed that they're in talks to take part in the movie!

Meet Stephen Amell, star of the TV show Arrow, who actually confirmed, with his own mouth in a video on Facebook, that he has had a meeting about taking on the role of Christian Grey. He hasn't really done many movies before, so we guess he's got nothing to lose.

"I get questions about Christian Grey all the time. That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it" Amell explained to his fans, before leaving everyone on tenterhooks with his next statement: "A long way off. I mean, not that long, but not close. I wouldn't call it long, but I wouldn't call it close." What? You can't leave us hanging like that young man!

Before now we'd heard rumours about Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal being lined up to play Mr Grey, but none of them proved to be true. And speculation about who'll play the lovely Anna is just as rife! Sure didn't they have us convinced it was going to be Emma Watson until she laughed the whole thing off on Twitter?

What do you make of Stephen Amell? Is he your Christian Grey? Let us know below.
