When we first sat down to watch 21 Jump Street, we weren't holding out hope for it. And, suprisingly, it was genuinely funny with a lot of laughs. A sequel is pretty much greenlit straight after 21 Jump Street was released and filming has begun on the sequel - imaginatively titled 22 Jump Street.
Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are back as Schmidt and Jenko, except this time, they're breaking into a local college. Original, you guys. Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are back directing as their Lego Movie is, we assume, finished production and awaiting release.
How are we feeling about it? It could be good. Like we said, the first one surprised us so this could do the same. The chemistry between Hill and Tatum is undeniable and with most of the original cast / crew returning, that's always a good sign.
