Today marks the tenth anniversary of Casino Royale.

Easily one of the most effective reboots of any franchise, Daniel Craig's sharp and brutal performance as 007 reinvented the secret agent in a post-9/11 world. Directed by Martin Campbell - who previously directed Pierce Brosnan's first effort, GoldenEye - Casino Royale was a hugely successful venture for all concerned and put paid to fears that Craig would be unsuccessful in the role.

Ten years on, it's still a solidly made, smartly told spy blockbuster in a star-making role for Craig.

Here's some useless trivia for the day that's in it.
