10 Things I Hate About You To Get A Sequel

In the most random sequel news in some time, Hayley Atwell (the British bird in Captain America) is set to star in the follow-up to 10 Things I Hate About You, yonks after the original came out.

Variety are saying that director Gil Junger will return to helm "10 Things I Hate About Life," after he revealed he made more in residuals last year from the original than he did his initial directing fee. It's being described as "essentially a pseudo sequel/spin-off to the first film." It is of course remembered as the launching pad of the late, great Heath Ledger; while Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Julia Stiles also appeared in early roles. It's probably the best out of that bunch of tween flicks that engulfed cinemas in the 90s.

Not sure how tonally it will translate to an adult audience, but it was witty enough to work then...
