Spielberg's Tintin Wrapped; Still Two Years Away

26 November 2009

Steven Spielberg has wrapped principal photography on The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, but the real hard work starts now. The film, which is roughly cut together, will now be sent off to technicians who will spend the next two years adding motion capture scenes and rendering it. The film, set to be in 3D, will be released sometime in late 2011 and was co-written by Edgar Wright (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and will star Jamie Bell as Tintin and also features regular Wright co-conspirators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
