Zemeckis Talks Roger Rabbit Sequel

30 April 2009

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Back to the Future director Robert Zemeckis has been talking about a possible sequel to the former, his much loved animated/live-action hybrid: "I’ll tell you what is buzzing around in my head now that we have the ability - the digital tools, performance capture - I’m starting to think about Roger Rabbit," he told MTV.  Zemeckis is one of the most successful directors in the history of Hollywood, having helmed some of the biggest hits of all time (Forest Gump, Cast Away). His last film was the decent Beowulf, which again showed his keenness to bring new, cutting edge digital technology to the cinema going masses. Next he has the Jim Carrey starring motion capture film A Christmas Carol in the works, which one special effects coordinator has described as "stunning".
