Vanessa Hudgens laughs like mother
04 February 2012Vanessa Hudgens thinks she is 'turning into' her mother.
The 23-year-old actress says her mom Gina is her biggest inspiration, and though she used to find her positivity annoying, it is a side of herself now that she likes to embrace.
She said: 'My mom inspires me. She's the most positive, bubbly person.
'When I was younger, I'd think, 'Why is she giggling all the time? It's so annoying.' Now, I think it's great.
'The older I get, the more I'm turning into her. You get back what you put into life, so you may as well be happy and get that back in return.
Vanessa - who is currently dating actor Austin Butler - also admitted she loves being alone and feels comfortable dining out or watching a movie without a companion.
She said: 'I've loved being by myself since I was young. I love going to restaurants and to the movies by myself.'
The 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island' actress loves leaving her phone at home so she can get some peace.
She told Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine: 'It's too much to have your phone on all the time. There's always someone trying to get hold of you.
'I love leaving my phone at home - but I need music everywhere I go so I bring little portable speakers.'
