Star Trek London Premiere - A Little Help Please
We trekked along (GERRIT??! *curls foetal*) to a screening of one of this year's most anticipated films last night, something which - being truthful - I wasn't looking forward to with every fibre as I'm the farthest thing from a Trekkie you can get. But, as it turns out, it was the most fun I've had in a cinema in a looong time. Explosions, unexpectedly cracking humour, various ladies (some of them green) in a state of undress, a few surprising additions to the soundtrack, and SPACE SHIPS! *whispers* There's even a scriiiipt. With actual dialogue and everything! There's a coheeeesive narraaatiiiive *drools*.
OK, here comes the favour. We're being flown over to interview whoever we can grab on the red carpet at the film's London premiere this coming Monday. Am I scared? Bricking it a bit, alright. Being five foot nothing, crowds of frenzied fans are not my friend. That aside, all the cast will obviously be there and, if the picture galleries on WENN are anything to go by, these poor sods have been at the film's premiere in L.A, Sydney, Moscow, Paris, and Berlin - in the last week and a half... their brains are going to be beyond frazzled so will need to keep the questioning simple. That doesn't come naturally, unfortunately. Any questions thrown my way will be dutifully accommodated - assuming I don't freak slightly and draw a blank, like I did when faced with Clive Owen at February's Jameson Film Experience (I was allowed time for approximately one question and chose to ask him something which anyone could look up on IMDB *jazz hands*).
A gallery of the cast, including Chris Pine (Kirk), Eric Bana (Nero), Zoe Saldana (Uhura), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Simon Pegg (Scotty) and the director J.J. Abrams, is here for your viewing pleasure. I've decided not to subject you to the hardcore porn shots that were mingled in the Star Trek gallery (This Ain't Star Trek was released [along with many other things] on March 31st. It looks ropey as hell). Bit early in the day for that, WENN, but thanks all the same.

ask Syler - i mean- Zachary Quinto how difficult it was to transition from playing a crazy killer in Heroes to The Wise Sage that is spock. Or the dude playing Kirk if he was at all scared about stepping to William " You'll never ***BE*** like....common....people...." Shanter's shoes. Does he hoesntly think he can live up that the legend that is the Shanter? **scoffs at the very thought of it**

Who's Shanter? I presume you mean Shatner!!! If you regard him as such a legend at least have the respect to spell his name right!! Not once but twice you misspelled it btw.....

Ask Quinto if he'd prefer to be a Vulcan or a crazy dude with more powers than superman.

Ask Quinto who he's most like in real life, Spok (all in control of his emotions), Gabriel (Sweet and shy) or Sylar (Hungry for Power).... and whatever he answers ask him to Marry Me because I love him.

If you meet Clive Owen again, ask him why he hasn't married me yet.

For those interested in viewing the premiere today in Leicester Square, there are a couple of streaming webcams available. My personal favourite is the one on the Radisson Edwardian hotel as it has different views available: http://www.radissonedwardian.co.uk/leicester-sq-webcam.html

Best question always to ask at a premiere is if there will be a follow up :) Oh, and ask Zoe if she'll go out with me, please :D
