The Tiger Woods train of wang-fulled indiscretions keeps trundling on. At least he's a billionaire so he can drop a wad whenever necessary.

After "alleged" mistress number one, that being Rachel Uchitel, cancelled her press conference yesterday, the world’s press has presumed that she received a pay off from Wood’s wallet (some are saying to the tune of $1m). Not so, says TMZ:

"Sources say in the wee hours of the morning yesterday, after many phone calls back and forth between Rachel, Tiger and their reps, Rachel decided not to come out fighting at a news conference. She walked away without taking a cent from Tiger Woods. One very connected source said, 'This was absolutely not about money.' Sources say Rachel became ‘scared for her safety’ because she knows so much about Tiger, his alleged affairs and a variety of other Woods matters. We're told Tiger confided in Rachel... she knows specifics about 'other women,' as well as information about Tiger's marriage. The sources were quick to point out, Rachel does not fear Tiger, as much as she fears all the other people caught in what is becoming a very large net. Rachel, we're told, just wants to disappear for a while."

If that just isn’t a large, dangling orange carrot to every news agency / pap sort in existence, I don't know what is. She's in hiding, and she knows stuff about the "other women". DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!!!

In case you're wondering why Tiger’s wife, Elin, is keeping shtum and still remains in the marital home - she has reportedly accepted a payoff from her hubby's packet:

"Elin Woods was reportedly offered an immediate $5 million payment plus an additional $55 million added to her revised pre-nup if she stays married to Tiger for five more years... The lawyer familiar with the couple's negotiations told The Daily Beast that Tiger also has agreed to shorten the original prenup to seven years from the date of marriage, meaning it will vest in another two. And the revised agreement provides for a staggered schedule of payments spread out over five years that could be worth upward of $75 million. So for Elin to collect $80 million, she'll need to stay with Tiger another seven years, be a dutiful wife in showing up with him at social events and in public as if they were still the perfect couple, and sign a nondisclosure form that will prevent her from ever telling her story. Even if she lasts only two more years, she'll still walk away with nearly twice what she was entitled to under the original prenup."

$80 million for turning up to events and smiling... I still couldn’t do it. Maybe, if I could repeatedly kick him in the nads under the dinner table, I'd reconsider. Assuming I could find them, that is *clicks fingers x 3*

So, Tiger's pocket is going to get pillaged no matter what way you look at it. Like that wasn't an eventuality. The truth will always out. You have the likes of fellow golfer Jesper Parnevik (who introduced Elin to Tiger - she used to be Jesper's nanny), saying: "I hope she will use the driver next time instead of the three-iron. I have lost all respect for Tiger, especially as a father. It doesn't matter what he has done out there on the golf course."

Woods's name, however, isn't muck in all corners, and he can still count on endorsement money rolling in: "TMZ has obtained a contract sent to Tiger by the people over at AshleyMadison.com - a website for people who want to secretly cheat on their spouses - offering him $5 million to provide services in connection with the 'advertisement, endorsement, sale and promotion' of the website. The site's honchos never call Tiger out for cheating... they just think Tiger and his self-proclaimed ‘personal sins’ are a perfect match for their cheeky agenda."
